Ms. Moriam Islam is currently pursuing the Bar Training Course (BTC) at the University of the West of England, Bristol, United Kingdom. She has completed her LL.B. degree from the University of London, United Kingdom, and has developed a strong academic and practical foundation in law.
Ms Islam completed her mini-pupillage at Juris Chambers in East London, where she gained valuable exposure to family law proceedings, particularly matters concerning Child Arrangements Orders. During her time at the Chambers, she developed an understanding of court procedures, case preparation, legal research, and advocacy in a forteign jurisdiction thereby gaining insight into the practical application of law within the English legal system.
After returning to Bangladesh Ms. Islam has completed a specialised course in Legal Research offered by Bangladesh Law Digest, further strengthening her ability to conduct structured legal research, analyse legal authorities, and approach legal issues critically.
Since joining Gladius & Co., Ms. Islam has gained valuable hands-on experience in the legal profession, with practical exposure to legal research, drafting, case preparation, and the day-to-day workings of a professional legal practice. This experience has allowed her to bridge the gap between academic legal knowledge and its practical application while developing a deeper understanding of legal practice.
Her academic training and practical experience have developed her interests in litigation, legal research, advocacy, and dispute resolution. She brings to Gladius & Co. a commitment to professional development, meticulous legal analysis, and effective client-focused legal work. As she continues her Bar training, Ms. Islam is keen to further develop her practical skills and contribute to the firm with diligence, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity.
